Pros: Location, beach access, great property / room, friendly/ helpful staff (speaking good English), nice chill
*We visited for a week over New Year so peak season* The location is ideal if you want to be close to the action, not in it. You can walk along the beach, towards Chaweng, in the evening and stop off at one of the many bars / restaurants to catch a fire show, grab a drink, eat, etc. The property is situated on a quieter part of Chaweng beach which is kept clean by the property staff. You’re a couple of footsteps from the calm sea which is fine for swimming but also have a decent size pool with loungers available at both locations. The bar staff will wait on you so need to move, if that’s your objective. The inclusive breakfast is basic (as mentioned in many of the reviews) however I found it more than adequate. They have a small buffet with a Thai offering (stir fry, rice or noodles), bacon, baked beans, sausage, etc. with an array of bakery goods. There is also a live cooking station doing eggs, noodle soup, pancakes and waffle’s. We had suite 101 with pool access. The pool is shared by a couple of the other ground floor suites but is set out in such a way so as to give you plenty of privacy. The room is a great size with a quality bathroom (shower was awesome) and sliding doors opening up on to a nice covered deck which also got plenty of sun and the private pool access.
The restaurant is very quiet of an evening which I believe is down, in some part, to the overpriced menu. The food isn’t great and the options are fairly limited in comparison to elsewhere. We ate there once because we were too tired to go out and it wasn’t great. Otherwise, I don’t have anything negative to say about the stay.

What was the highlight of Sareeraya Villas & Suites
Wonderful stay, but it was the staff that made it!
The location was lovely and the overall ambiance of the Villas excellent. We had a plunge pool villa which was spacious and well appointed, even if we used the plunge pool only once due to the mosquitos! The Chef's Table restaurant provided an excellent breakfast and all day dining. We were surprised about the lack of patrons for evening dinners, so most nights we had a private restaurant with the most wonderful outlook. Food reasonable but not exceptional. The staff were fantastic and so personable, a highlight of our stay.
The shower drove me crazy, there was only a rain shower which I don't like. There was a hand held spray unit in the spa bath, but that was near impossible to get into without having a major accident. Pillows were uncomfortable and the bed linen hot & too heavy for the temperature. Mosquitos were everywhere, but in the resorts defence, there was plenty of spray provided in the rooms. Pool quite large but not when inundated with lots of kids! Surrounding restaurants outside the facility limited (within walking distance) and some completely missable.
